Bulk rubber is offerd to professional restorers in 50' rolls... Please call for prices and shipping charges... Exact reproduction of early style extruded ribbed rubber as commonly used in the 1910-1950 period as tire material on most pedal cars, wagons, & wheel toys. This material is produced exclusively for me by a major American manufacturer using duplicates of the original dies...properly cured in a consistent fine quality, gives an absolute "show quality" result when properly installed. I will mount the proper size rubber on your wheel @ $15.00 per wheel up to about 12" diameter. I have the old machine that twists the wire to the proper tension in the center of the rubber...just like the original. The exception is the 15/16" AM-NATL...I sometimes bond the joint and roll the tire on the wheel...same appearance, sometimes seems to work better with this heavy rubber... I assure you that I will use the utmost care to avoid damage to your wheel...but the makeup of the tire machine is such that once in a great while a slight nick or scratch in the paint is unavoidable...I cannot be responsible for that...doesn't happen often, usually will brush touch easily..... Please pack your wheels securely, in a carton large enough for return (with the tires mounted). End them to me freight paid, parcel post or U.P.S. with your check or money order @ $15.00 per wheel + $20.00 for return. |
